Leeds food festivals hit the city in the summer

Foodies will be in heaven with the news that two food festivals will take place in Leeds this summer.

Roundhay Park will play host to the Foodies festival on the 2 – 4 July. UK’s finest chefs will demonstrate their favourite dishes live in the chefs theatre, join in the master classes or sample delicious food and live entertainment.

The popular Leeds Loves Food festival will take place at venues around the city from the 1 – 4 July. Restaurants will be showcasing their culinary talents and delicious food through a programme of events, offers and demonstrations.

More news for foodies is that Jamie Oliver will be opening up ‘Jamie’s Italian’ restaurant in the city in April, along with his Ministry of Food centre in the Kirkgate Market and local staff will teach Jamie’s developed cookery course and classes.

Please let us know in the comments of any other food events or restaurant openings in the city this year.
