The dates for the annual music events at Temple Newsam have been announced. Opera in the Park will take place on 24 July, with Party in the Park on the 25 July. The free tickets will be up for grabs from the 5 June. Last year acts such as JLS and soprano Natasha Marsh, wowed the crowds.

I haven’t been to Lotherton Hall for years, but as a young one we used to bike it there in the summer. Anyway, sorry, the event, the Easter egg hunt takes place for 2 – 5 April. Take the kids and enjoy a day out that includes quizzes, trails and take a look at the new hatched chicks on the farm.
