
You still have time if you want to take part in this year’s Leeds Half marathon or Family Fun run. The deadline for applications is 9 April, or you can do what I’ll be doing and cheer on the runners on Sunday 9 May, starting at the Millennium Square.

If you fancy a good inspiring musical, then at Leeds Grand Theatre the critically acclaimed production Whistle Down the Wind opens on 5th April, based on the sixties film, and with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this performance relates the adventure of children finding a fugitive living in their local barn.
