Chilling out on Easter Sunday at the Adelphi

I had the urge for a roast dinner so off to the Adelphi we went; a great pub, on the edge of the city centre, with a good selection of beers and drinks. We ordered our pints of Leeds pale ale, sat down to a chilled out atmosphere, which was perfect for a Sunday, and this despite the madness of the music fest upstairs.

Food ordered, roast beef, with veg, mash, Yorkshire pudding. The service was fantastic, and portions good, worth the £8.50 and I would return again. I loved the relaxed atmosphere, people reading newspapers, playing board games. Recommended for a chill-out Sunday after a hectic night out.

I will be keeping up to date with this, as I think Leeds is poor for food (I am a veggie). Before everyone disagrees, I am originally from a North Yorkshire country town where pub grub is generally excellent (and in nice surroundings), I have yet to have a decent pub meal in Leeds. I now cannot eat gluten, so anywhere that can give a veggie coeliac a decent meal tell me where you are and I will be there!
