
Leeds restaurant, Livebait, is opening its doors to a charity event on Tuesday 1 June from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. It’ll only cost you £5 for an evening of entertainment and canapés. All proceeds collected are being donated to St. Gemma’s Hospice and Sue Ryder’s Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds.

Leeds will be host to fans of Australia and Pakistan cricket teams this summer with the 2nd MCC Cricket Test Match at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground between the 21 – 25 July. Events will take place throughout Yorkshire Cricket Mela, during, what should be a thrilling test match.

Successful UK band, the Kooks are playing a one off date at the 02 Academy on 4 June before they play at this year’s V Festival. Their latest album was a huge hit, selling some 2 million copies worldwide. The 02 Academy is located near Millennium Square and is one of the premier music venues for Leeds.
