I am writing this post in amazement of what is on my doorstep. I have lived in Pudsey for the last ten years and today I decided to explore Fulneck Moravian Settlement, a picturesque location on a hillside. The walk is around two miles from Pudsey cenotaph and back.

I took this photograph a few days ago; a typical autumn day in Leeds, a photo of the Civic Hall, on Millennium Square, which is one of my favourite places to photograph, closely followed by the waterfront. Where is your favourite place to take photos in Leeds?

Yesterday, I took two New Zealand round the world travellers on a walk of the city centre, and what a perfect day for walking. We had blue skies as you can see from this photo of the old post office building. I think I have converted two more people that there’s more to the UK than London.

Out of all of the places I have taken my nephew this summer we both agreed that Harewood House was our favourite. It isn’t just the house and gardens, but the fantastic bird garden, and grounds are great to walk around. This photo is of the stream that runs through the estate.

This weekend I took my nephew to the Leeds waterfront festival taking place at Granary Wharf, Clarence Dock, and Brewery Wharf. What a fun day it was, that included live music, market stalls, food and drink. Click on the thumbnail to view the photo.
