
Wrap up and Run 10K will take place on Sunday 18 March 2012 at the impressive Harewood house and its scenic estate. Registration is now open to participants who would like to run, get fit, and help raise some vital funds for charity, Age UK.

Why not spend the afternoon learning about Tai Chi, participate in art and crafts, cooking or singing workshops at the Older People’s Wellbeing Day on Saturday 16 July from midday until 4pm at the Oxford Place Methodist Centre, next to Leeds Town Hall and free entrance.

From the 21 – 25 April Test Space at Melbourne Street, Leeds will be hosting Ink for Aid in order to raise money for those most affected in Japan. The event will include an auction of artwork submissions, live music & art. Proceeds will go to charities including Save the Children.

You won’t be short of ideas for totally unique Christmas presents with a great choice of retro, vintage and antique goods. The fair is on for a full weekend over Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December, 10.00am to 4.00pm, and entry is by donation.

You can buy anything from furniture, clothing, books, music and homewares from the ’20s to the ’80s at the Vintage Fair at St Gemma’s on the 18 & 19 September. The fair opens at 10.00am and closes at 4pm. Entry cost is by donation, so go and support this great local charity.
