Victorian Christmas at Temple Newsam

It’s all happening at Temple Newsam with a fabulous Victorian Christmas with a nativity tableau, Santa’s Grotto, story telling, Victorian dancing, and plenty of mulled wine. On Saturday 11 December 2010, 5.30pm to 8.00pm. Adults £5.75, children (1 to 16 years) £3.50. Family tickets are available too.

1940’s Christmas at the Royal Armouries

If you have a taste for history and want to experience what Christmas must have been like during the Second World War, then head for the Royal Armouries for this full weekend of family activity. Starts at 11.00am on Saturday 11 December and finishes at 5.00pm on Sunday 12th December 2010.

Medi-Evil Mayhem at Royal Armouries Leeds

The Royal Armouries is the setting for a week long series of gruesome events running between 23 – 31 October. The events include the bloody barber surgeon with his weeping wounds amongst a host of other family Halloween activities. All events are generally free but there are charges for some events.
