A Taste of Spain’ makes its debut in the city, the free event from 11.30am to 18.30pm on 2 & 3 July in Victoria Gardens, there will be live music and an opportunity to try paella cooked in a huge cast iron pan. To accompany the food, the region of Galicia will be offering a traditional fortifying liqueur.

Food lovers across the country are in for a treat at this years’ Leeds Loves Food, the city’s annual food festival, held from 1 – 3 July 2011. Held in Millennium Square he show will bring over 100 stallholders from across the UK to the city for the first time.

The popular LS6 beer festival is on 3 & 4 June at the Left Bank Leeds on Cardigan Road. Tickets are priced £15 for both days. Advice is to book now, as tickets go quickly on the door. Beers include Gorlovka and 1872 Porter, while live music acts include the Hannah Trigwell band and Alaska.
