Live at Leeds 2011

The main event of Live at Leeds is being held at the O2 Leeds Academy on 30 April from 3pm. The performances are 3pm Starslinger, 4pm Saint Saviour, 5pm James Blake, 6.30pm Kassidy, 7.30 The Duke Spirit, 9pm Frightened Rabbit followed by Propaganda club night at 11pm. Tickets 17.50 plus booking fee.

Write Me A Picture writing workshop

On 2 April poet Suzannah Evans hosts a creative writing workshop at the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery looking at the relationship between art and creative writing with a focus on the ideas of optical illusion and trickery. Hamlet at West Yorkshire Playhouse

Northern Broadsides are performing Shakespeare’s Hamlet at the West Yorkshire Playhouse 19 – 23 April and 26-30 April with performances every night at 7.30pm and matinees on Thursdays at 1.30 and Saturdays at 2.00pm. Tickets are £16-£26.

Yorkshire Game Fair at Harewood House

Harewood hosts the Yorkshire Game Fair from 29-30 May. There’s a huge variety of countryside activities, demonstrations and entertainment planned, and there are camping pitches available. Daily ticket prices are Adult £8, Seniors £7.50, Children/Students £4, Family Tickets £23, entry is free for children under 4.
