Redbull X-Fighters Tour comes to Leeds

Europe’s top extreme freestyle motocross riders will be flying in for a 4-stop Jams tour of the UK. Coming to Leeds on 17 July you will see the riders perform jaw-dropping flips, twists and turns in the Millennium Square. They’ll perform two one-hour shows, one at 1pm and another at 5pm.

Leeds will be host to fans of Australia and Pakistan cricket teams this summer with the 2nd MCC Cricket Test Match at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground between the 21 – 25 July. Events will take place throughout Yorkshire Cricket Mela, during, what should be a thrilling test match.

SNO!zone will be running its Beginner Blowout at Xscape in Castleford, with offers for both kids and adult visitors, running between 29 and 31 May, it’s a good opportunity to get a taste of the slopes with beginner freestyle and ski race sessions.

Leeds Half Marathon 2010

You still have time if you want to take part in this year’s Leeds Half marathon or Family Fun run. The deadline for applications is 9 April, or you can do what I’ll be doing and cheer on the runners on Sunday 9 May, starting at the Millennium Square.
